Description

The new 32275L battery tester by SW-Stahl is designed for mobile use. The tester checks systems at 12 and 24 volts, the battery’s state of charge, the battery load when starting the engine, performs an extended load test and checks that the generator is charged. The integrated printer is used to directly print out the detailed test results. The test sequence does not drain the battery and delivers fast, precise test results. The large LCD display shows the results in a clear layout. Operation is also simple as there are only four control elements. In addition, the tester is protected against reverse polarity. Any incorrect connection of the positive and negative poles will not damage the tester. Batteries can be checked when installed or disconnected from the engine.

The following battery types can be checked:

• Lead-acid battery (wet cell)
• VRLA battery (Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid Battery)
• GEL/SLA battery (Sealed Lead Acid Battery)
• EFB battery (Enhanced Flooded Battery)
• AGM battery (Absorbent Glass Mat Battery)

The following battery standards are supported:

• CCA: 100 – 1,700 amperes
• IEC: 100 – 1,000 amperes
• EN: 100 – 1,700 amperes
• DIN: 100 – 1,000 amperes
• JIS: The amperage must be determined via a table (refer to the chapter section “JIS comparative tables”)
